Message from the Chapter President:
We are the physicians of Oregon who provide healthcare for infants, children and adolescents in
partnerships with their parents to promote the optimal health, development and wellbeing for
Oregon’s next generation of children. We are deeply committed to each and every child and advocate
that all children, regardless of ethnicity, community or socioeconomic status, must have access to
high quality, continuous and comprehensive health and developmental services within a medical home.
Pediatricians of our state can be found in urban and rural settings and in hospitals and clinics,
large and small. Pediatricians of the Oregon Pediatric Society always strive to bring the
highest quality child health services to Oregon’s children and provide the leadership
in our state with community organizations and public agencies to realize
“World Class Child Health in Oregon.”
