The Advocacy committee is charged to review and recommend OPS policy regarding state and federal legislation. It is authorized to make timely decisions on behalf of the society based on OPS Advocacy Positions. The committee also participates in the development of proposed legislation and provides direction to legislative liaison staff during sessions of the legislature.
