Lisa Reynolds, MD, has announced that she is running as a Democrat for Oregon House District 36. This district is in Portland and includes downtown, the south waterfront, and the SW and NW hills.
“I am a pediatrician, a mom and an activist,” Dr. Reynolds said. “My years with patients in the exam room have been incredibly rewarding. I will use my experience and my expertise to influence decisions made at the state level that impacts the lives of children & their families. Specifically, I want to help make Oregon safer from gun violence by requiring the safe storage of guns and I want to improve access to mental health services for children and adults.”
Lisa’s official campaign launch is from 4:30 – 6:00 pm on November 17 at Comedy Sportz. She encourages OPS members to attend.
Lisa is an active member of the OPS Advocacy Committee and has traveled across the state teaching medical providers how to talk to their patients and families about safe gun storage. She works at the Children’s Clinic in Portland. For more information, visit her campaign website.
