On May 10, the FDA announced that it has approved the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine for kids ages 12+. OPS Member Ryan Hassan, MD, MPH, joined OPB’s Think Out Loud on May 11 to share what he tells his pediatric patients and families about the COVID-19 vaccine, as well as his perspective on ways to increase vaccination rates more broadly.
Dr. Hassan practices in Happy Valley, is active on OPS’s Advocacy Committee, and is on the medical advisory board of Boost Oregon.
