OPS Board Member Kelley Burnett, DO, has been named Chief Medical Officer at AllCare Health –a physician-led B Corp — in Grants Pass. She aims to continue supporting AllCare’s goal of working with their community to provide quality, cost-effective healthcare for the people they serve.
As Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Burnett works closely with fellow medical directors, behavioral health directors, and oral health directors to review prior authorization requests for medical services, ensuring that the requests are medically indicated. She also works with AllCare’s Health Equity Committee and Population Health and Care Coordination Departments.
Dr. Burnett regularly collaborates with regional partners, such as AllCare’s regional health equity coalition, where she chairs a LGBTQ+ workgroup and a Reproductive and Sexual Health work group. Additionally, she attends monthly OHA Quality and Health Outcomes Committee meetings in Salem, and has been appointed to the Systems of Care Advisory Council for the state, which is working to strengthen the systems involved in behavioral health for children and young adults.
Dr. Burnett has worked with AllCare for more than 10 years, initially as a board member and chair of the Quality Improvement Committee, and then as a staff member.
Before she joined AllCare full-time in 2016, Dr. Burnett practiced pediatrics in Grants Pass for 20 years. She is originally from California’s Bay Area, and she attended medical school at the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine.
