“I would ask parents to answer the kids’ [COVID-19] questions with calm and honesty, even if you don’t know the answer, and reassure them that everyone is working hard to keep people safe,” said OPS Member Dawn Nolt, MD, during a January 4th segment on Oregon Public Broadcasting.
Dr. Nolt, a pediatric infectious disease specialist at OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital, joined OPB to answer Oregon kids’ questions about the coronavirus.
